A dog saving a child, oil on canvas. Dating from the mid to late 19th century and presumably Dutch with a clog for a boat. The picture displays a sentimental scene of a Collie dog rescuing a child from drowning. The mother is running to the accident as the child's boat floats away. A great decorative picture and a good size. Unfortunately no signature but in good general condition with no holes.
