Hutton-Clarke Antiques is pleased to offer a wonderful continental commode or chest of drawers. Circa 1800, the whole piece is beautifully veneered in figured mahogany and stands on tapered legs with oak-lined drawers. The handles are good period replacements that match the quality of the piece. This is a particularly good low and wide commode, making it very practical with nice deep drawers. The entire piece exhibits superb colour and patination all over.
