This elegant Georgian mahogany partner’s desk, dating from around 1790, is a fine example of period craftsmanship. Its compact proportions offer practicality and style, making it a desirable piece for collectors and functional use.

The desk features drawers on both sides, with full-length drawers at the top on one side, providing ample storage. The original bracket feet remain intact, adding to its authenticity, while the worn leather top exudes character and charm. The desk has been tastefully enhanced with replaced brass swan-neck handles and brass numbered buttons, complementing its classic aesthetic. The high-quality oak drawer linings further reflect the superior craftsmanship of the Georgian era.

On the ends, two large decorative handles add to its refined design, making it easy to manoeuvre. This one-piece desk is a rare find, as Georgian partner’s desks are increasingly difficult to source. Its timeless appeal and rich patina make it a standout addition to any traditional or period interior. kneehole width 43 cm
